Ethan “Elle” Baker (she/they) hails from Raleigh, North Carolina where she’s been performing since the age of 4.

After seeing Mary Poppins on Broadway, Elle vowed to spend her life creating the same magic she saw on stage, and thus am immense passion for theatre was born.

Being raised in Raleigh proved to be a blessing for Elle, because there was never a lack of performance opportunities. Between regional and school theatre companies, church choir, dance competitions, and more, Elle grew up in front of a crowd, with an incredible community supporting her.

Elle is a proud trans woman, who began her transition in 2022. Elle is a champion for the queer and trans community, always looking to uplift trans voices and use her platform for the betterment of her community. Being trans has not been an easy journey, but she wouldn’t trade her experience, or womanhood, or anything.

Aside from her career on stage, Elle can be found in the dance studio (her favorite place on earth) choreographing and taking class, coding databases and providing business intelligence feedback (because everyone has bills to pay), playing with Legos because you’re never too old to have fun, taking hot yoga or pilates, traveling and exploring the world around her, or at local bars and clubs performing in drag, under the stage name Veronica Bombshell.
