About
Ethan Baker hails from Raleigh, North Carolina where he has been performing since the age of 4. After seeing Mary Poppins on Broadway, Ethan vowed to spend his life creating the same magic he saw on stage, and thus his immense passion for theatre was born.
Being raised in Raleigh proved to be a blessing for Ethan, because there was never a lack of performance opportunities. Between regional and school theatre companies, church choir, dance competitions, and more, Ethan grew up in front of a crowd, with an incredible community supporting him.
As a performer, Ethan feeds off the energy of those around him, which is why he feels incredibly blessed to have attended Millikin University for a BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance (2017-2018). The students and faculty provided such an incredibly positive environment to learn and work in. In the Spring of 2018 Ethan decided to put his education on hold and take advantage of the incredible career opportunities that were coming his way. Since leaving school he has been able to travel the country and do what he loves more than anything, which is perform.
Aside from his career on stage, Ethan can be found in the dance studio (his favorite place on earth) choreographing and taking class, working retail (because everyone has bills to pay), taking hot yoga, traveling and exploring the world around him, or at local bars and clubs performing in drag, under the stage name Veronica Bombshell.
